Vung Tau is a coastal city in Southern Vietnam, capital of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province. Only 125km from Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau is becoming one of the ideal place for tourists. Most of this coastal city is covered by high mountains and beautiful hills.

Ben Da is a busy fishing port, bustling station but the Buddha Shakyamuni temple is a spiritual sanctuary, which gives you the impression of a magical scene of heaven.

Bach Dinh was built by the French from 1898 to 1916 as summer holiday house of French Governor Paul Doumer.

This 30-metre-hight hollow statue is the largest sculpture in Southern Vietnam. Built in the early 1970s, it is the same size as the famous Jesus Statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Temple of Nirvana is also known as the Pagoda of the Lying Buddha, it is located in the centre of Bai Dua, in the side of mountain and face with the sea.
